Practitioner Certification
We are pleased to announce the launch of our official Practitioner Certification program. Successful completion of the program awards you the title "Certified Practitioner of the Wild Earth Animal Essences." In addition to using this title, our website will include a listing of Certified Practitioners with your preferred contact information. Click here for a list of current Certified Practitioners.
All practitioners are free to use the Wild Earth Animal Essences in their professional practices without certification, however if you wish to represent yourself as a "Certified Practitioner of the Wild Earth Animal Essences" then completion of the Certification process is required.
There are a number of pre-requisites for becoming a "Certified Practitioner of the Wild Earth Animal Essences":
1) Formal Training: Completion of both the Level 1 and Level 2 Seminars is required. (Under certain circumstances, an exemption from one or both seminars may be granted to Practitioners with established practices who have worked extensively with the animal essences in their practice prior to seeking certification).

In addition, it is necessary for applicants to have thoroughly read Daniel Mapel's book on the animal essences: 'Into the Heart of the Wild: Healing and Transformation with the Wild Earth Animal Essences.' This book has been translated and is also available in the following languages: Italian, Dutch, German, Czech, French, and Spanish.
2) Personal Work with the Animal Essences : Those seeking certification will be asked to submit a satisfactory narrative about their experiences working personally with the animal essences. This narrative must include how working with the animal essences has helped them to work with some previously unaddressed 'shadow' material, and how the animal essences provided support working through that material.
3) Case Studies: A satisfactory submission of 4 detailed case studies of working with others is required. Case Study Forms will be provided to facilitate your reporting the information needed.
4) Consultation with Daniel Mapel, Developer of the essences: Upon submission of the above materials, a consultation with Daniel is necessary to review, discuss, and determine readiness for certification. The consultation may take place in person, by phone, or if language barriers exist, by translated email.
A Sliding Scale Administrative fee of $150-$300 is due upon submission of your materials, and includes review of your application, consultation with Daniel, listing at our website, and mailing of your printed Certificate. This fee is based on ability to pay.
The Certification is good for two years from the date of issue, and renewable every two years. If you wish to renew, you will be required to submit a short report about your work along with a $50 renewal fee.
If you wish to take part in the certification process, or believe that you may in the future, please send an email to: [email protected]
